Once again, a new threat across the digital landscape which is code being inserted into images. Right now, there are no solutions and it is very serious. My only recommendation is to not “enlarge” any image unless you know who has posted it or more importantly, who has sent it. ALL images are suspect. What most people do not realize is that when you view a webpage, you have actually downloaded it to your own device which means by “activating” the image, you can release the code.
