My site is focused on helping others understand the importance of managing their technology, whether it be a smart phone, home computer, or network. By managing, i mean understanding terminology and the underlying structure and how it can affect you, along with some best practices for using the technology.
Many of us learn by doing, some learn by seeing, and some learn by hearing. We will be adding additional media to the site to assist with this, but for the moment we are just a static site.
Under the FAQ section, I have begun to add what I hope will be useful tips to understanding some of the serious and less serious challenges of the digital and internet worlds. Adding is easy, organizing not so much, so please check back and i promise to keep working at this until it truly meets the standard of being “user friendly.”
I’m hoping also that some of the generation that is still learning from their children and grandchildren will use the FAQ’s as a beginning point to ask questions so that they can have demonstrations by their “little helpers” of some of these tips.
One thing is for certain, whether you’re 12 or 50+, it’s never easy to experience a paradigm shift in your lifetime, as subsequent generations learn. There is always something happening — change, progress (we hope) in each generation and since we are all along for the ride, let’s make the best of it.
